Do you already have Online Service for Business set up for your business? Yes -\> Go to step 4 [No -\> Go to step 1](https://knowledge-base.allsorted.au/nominating-all-sorted-as-your-bas-agent-with-the-ato#MyGovID) ### Step 1: Set up your Digital Identity (myGovID) **Note** Your business **myGovID** is different to  your personal **myGov** account myGovID is the Australian Government's digitial identity app. It allows you to prove who you are and log in to online services for business For instructions on setting up your myGovID, see [How to set up myGovID](http://www.mygovid.gov.au/setup) ### Step 2: Link your myGovID to your ABN [Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM)](https://info.authorisationmanager.gov.au/) is an authorisation service that allows you to access online services on behalf of your business. You'll need to use RAM to link your myGovID to your ABN. You can [link online](https://info.authorisationmanager.gov.au/principal-authority?anchor=How_to_link#How_to_link) if both:   - you have a *Strong* myGovID identity strength - your name is listed in the Australian Business Register (ABR). If you run into trouble contact your bookkeeper and they will be able to help you out. #### Step 3: Authorise others to act on your behalf (optional) You can authorise others to act on behalf of your business (for example, employees) in RAM. For instructions on how to authorise others, see [set up authorisations](https://info.authorisationmanager.gov.au/authorisations). --- #### Step 4: Nominate your authorised agent in Online services for business From the [Online services for business](https://www.ato.gov.au/General/Online-services/Businesses/?anchor=Onlineservicesforbusiness#Onlineservicesforbusiness) home page: - select **Profile**, then **Agent details** - at the **Agent nominations** feature, select **Add** - on the **Nominate agent** screen, go to **Search for agent** - Enter **25433580** (Scott's Registered Agent Number) and select **Search** - select **Scott Elsom** (if multiple results are returned, select the correct agent) - complete the **Declaration** - select **Submit**. You'll now see your All Sorted's details listed under **Agent nominations**. ### Step 5: Advise your Bookkeeper that you have completed this process Unfortunately, the ATO do not advise us once you have nominated us, so we need you to send us an email advising us that you have nominated us.  To let your Bookkeeper know that you have nominated us as your registered agent just fill in the details below and click **Submit**.   ### Unable to nominate using Online services for business?
