Xero's Auto Super allows you to use the Governments SuperStream platform from with Xero.
Using Auto Super allows your bookkeeper to generate batch payments to send your employees super contributions electronically from your registered bank account to their nominated super fund.
Xero will deduct the payments directly from your bank account, once you authorise the payment.
Only an authorised user can set up and register for Auto Super.
To register for Auto Super do the following:
- Go to the Superannuation tab on the Payroll menu
- Click Get Started, or if you already have auto super, click Update Registration in the banner
- Check your ABN and /Legal/Trading Name are correct (You can update these details in your organisation settings)
- Click Next
- Select an authoriser and enter their name, phone and email.
- Click Next
- Select the bank account you will use to make direct debit payments from for your employees
- Click Next
- Review the terms and conditions (You will need to click on each item, open it and read it, before you can move forward)
- Select the confirmation checkbox to agree to them
- Click Register.
Once you have registered Xero will contact the nominated authoriser included on the application when Auto Super has been activated.
